William Henry Wilkins, Jr., 67, of Albany, NY passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
Born September 26, 1956 in Greenville, NC, to the late William Henry Wilkins Sr. and Winnie Viola Ward Wilkins. Henry leaves a legacy of memories to be cherished by his loving children TeVondra (DeAndre' Sr.) Gayden, Hen'Daya (Eric Sr.), Clyde, and Henry "Marquis" Wilkins; sisters Jacqueline Wilkins, Velma Wilkins McAdoo, Vivian Diana (Kirk) Faulkner, Cynthia Tanksley (Jerry), brother William Curtis (Kimberly) Wilkins all of Albany, NY; sister Linda Andrews of Bethel, NC, 7 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Henry was predeceased by his son Marquette Nathaniel Wilkins, mother Winnie Viola Wilkins, father William Henry Wilkins Sr.; sisters Carolyn Diana Wilkins, Teresa Jean Wilkins and Ladie Pearl Wilkins Whitehurst.
A Celebration of Life for Henry will take place on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Mount Olive Southern Missionary Baptist Church, 236 North Pearl Street, Albany, NY 12207. Viewing at 9:30am, Service at 11:00am. Interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Albany, NY.
The family will continue the celebration at North Albany American Legion Post 1610, 35 N 1st Street, Albany, NY 12204.
