William J. Zeh

SLINGERLANDS- William J. "Bill" Zeh, 62, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 with his loving family by his side.
Bill was born in Albany, NY to Clinton and Jane Zeh on April 25, 1954. A 1972 Graduate of Cardinal McCloskey High School. He became member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 7 in April 1975. He held the following positions in the union: Vice President, Recording Secretary, Treasurer of Pension and Welfare Plan, Negotiation and Grievance Committee and Apprentice Instructor. Retired from the Union in 2013 but continued his Apprentice Instructor position. Graduated from Bryant and Stratton College in 1998 with an associate's degree in Paralegal. In 2008 he became an Instructor and Curriculum Subject Matter Expert for NYS until his death.
Bill is predeceased by his mother, Jane, and his brother, John.
He is survived by his father, Clinton (Frances) Zeh, his siblings; Michael (Judy Werking) Zeh, Kenneth (Mary) Zeh, Diane (Mark) Donahue, and Deborah (Mike) Lee.
Nieces and nephews, Christopher (Ashley) Rikard, Carolyn (Brian) Mattiske, Eric (Christina) Donahue, Clinton "C.J." (Andrea) Zeh, John (Sarah Muche) Payette, Sonya (AJ) Blizzard, Darcie (Chuckie) Jaskot, Megan Donahue, Cynthia (Bobby) Goff, Deanna Lee, Sarah Donahue and 16 great nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, Colonie Chapel, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Monday, March 6, 2017, from 4:00pm-7:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at 10:00am. Burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont, NY.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bill's name to the Ronald McDonald House, 139 South Lake Ave., Albany, NY 12208, or St Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 313 Washington St Ste 310, Newton, MA 02458.
