Willie Harris, Jr.

Willie Harris, Jr. passed away peacefully on Sunday May 13, 2012 at the Community Hospice of Albany at St. Peters with his loving family by his side. Willie was born in Halifax, VA to the late Willie and Martha Harris. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his 2 brothers, Samuel and Herman Harris and his 2 sisters, Dorothy and Nancy Chaney.

Willie is survived by his two daughters, Monique Harris of Albany and Dana Harris of Troy; his six grandchildren, Mahijayna, Khesada, Trevon Jr., Quaveon of Albany, Sadiyah and Steven Jr. of Troy. He is the brother of Louise (Frank) Ware of Albany and Sylvester White of Jamestown. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and his two dear friends, Lamar and Montgomery.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Hospice for all the care and compassion given to Willie.

Funeral services will be Friday at 12 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 10 to 12 at the funeral home.
