Willie Ray Ebron

ALBANY – Willie Ray "Big Willie" Ebron, 64, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at his home.
Willie was born in Stokes, NC and was the son of the late James Henry and Allie G. (Daniels) Ebron. He was a chef for many restaurants in the Albany area for many years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, music and shooting pool.
Willie is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Pearlie Ebron; his loving daughter, Evelyn (James) Ebron-Davis; his sons, Michael Ebron and Chaz Ebron; his cherished granddaughter,
Ja-nease Ebron-Davis whom she called "Cory"; his sisters, Darlene Ebron and Betty D. Ebron; and his brothers, Spencer Daniels, Michael Ebron and James Ebron. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Macedonia Baptist Church, 26 Wilson Ave., Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment, Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
