Winston Blakemore

Colonie- Winston L. Blakemore, 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 09, 2005, surrounded by his family. Born in Sanger, CA. he was the son of the late Flake and Tina Blakemore. Winston was a longtime Manager of IBM in Albany until retirement in 1982. Winston is predeceased by his beloved wife of 57 years Jo Ann Blakemore.
Winston leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Sharon Kingsbury of Malta, his son Michael Blakemore of Wilton, and his granddaughter Kara Anne Carey of Corinth. Winston is also survived by his close brothers Forest Blakemore of Modesto, CA, Kenneth Blakemore of Round Rock, TX, and Douglas Blakemore of Modesto, CA, one niece and several nephews. Winston was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all he touched.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 Pm at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 5:00 PM at the funeral following calling hours. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. At the request of the family in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Saratoga County, 179 Lawrence Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 in memory of Winston L. Blakemore.
