Yolanda Scholz, 96, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 28, 2010 surrounded by her loving family.
Yolanda was born in Manhattan to the late Pasquale and Margaret D'Angelo. She was raised and lived in Palasades Park, NJ before moving to the upsate New York area. Yolanda most enjoyed spending time wilth her family.
In addition to her parents, Yolanda is predeceased by her husband, Edward H. Scholz, Sr. and her daughter, Elaine Hogrefe.
She is survived by her children; Ruthann (Jon) Greene of Catskill and Edward H. (Joyce) Scholz, Jr. of Guilderland, her son-in-law, Robert Hogrefe of New Jersey, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. (Rt. 155-South of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 pm to 5 pm. Interment will follow the service at Parkview Cemetery, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made to The Arthritis Foundation, Northeastern New York Chapter, 1717 Central Ave. Suite 105 Albany, NY 12205.
