WATERVLIET - Yolanda Mary Marziani,92, beloved wife of the late Paul A Marziani, passed away peacefully from this life, with her loving family by her side on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
Born in Watervliet, New York on December 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Susanna (DeRosa) Razzano. Yolanda was raised and educated in Watervliet. She worked for Tiny Tots toy store in Troy New York as well as a lunch monitor in Watervliet Elementary School for many years.
She was a devout catholic and a communicant of the former our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Watervliet as well as being in the choir Among other activities at the church. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and bingo, as well as going to the casinos, bus trips and many cruises, and a trip to the Vatican. She also accompanied her sisters and family on many pilgrimages to Canadian shrines Including the Shrine of Saint Anne and the Lady of Cape Shrine.
Most importantly, Yolanda enjoyed the times spent with husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. This filled her heart with great joy and pride. She was the happiest when she’s was with her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and aunt.
Yolanda was predeceased by her husband, Paul. In addition to her late husband and parents, Yolanda is pre-deceased by her siblings Domenica Razzano, Mary ( late Tony) Renga, Anthony (late Bianca)Razzano, Vincenza (Late Angelo) Falato, Flora (late Frank) Keevern; Ann ( late Phillip)Romano, Frances ( late Martin) Navojoski, Margaret (late Joseph) Kocienski and Virginia ( late Albert) Esposito.
She is survived by her loving children Ernest F (Wendy)Marziani, Paul A Marziani Jr. and Debra A. (Nicholas) Costa; her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas (Tamara)Marziani, Ericka (Adam) Gray, Tina Marie Daniels, Francis (Kaitlyn) Costa, Nicholas Costa, Elisa Costa (Brian Bowman) and the late Paul (Pauly) Marziani III,; her cherished great grandchildren, Abby, Alivia, Meilyn, Dominic and Remy Giada, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Yolanda’s family wants to thank all the nurses and doctors at Samaritan Hospital, who took such wonderful care of her.
