SCHENECTADY – Yonia E. Foster, 99, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Capital Living Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born in Derby, VT, she was the daughter of the late Julia and Julius LaBounty.
Along with her parents, Yonia was predeceased by her husband Lee W. Foster, son Jeffery William Foster and sisters Erma McClure, Vera Whiting and Agnes Long.
She is survived by her son Robert (Rosemary) Stephens; grandchildren Michelle, Wendy, Brent and Jeffery; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Road, Colonie.
