Zant R. Samuria Ii

Zant R. Samuria II, 25, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 09, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Schenectady and graduated from Schenectady High and worked for Schenectady County Community College. Zant loved music, camping, sneakers, jewelry and spending time with his family and friends. Zant enjoyed working for the college and couldn't wait to return.
Zant is survived by his mother, Theresa Boilard; his father and step-mother, Zant R. and Sherri Samuria. He is the beloved brother of, David, Justin and Aridessa. He is also survived by his cherished girlfriend, Sukyia Jackson; his longtime friend, Latisha Jones and his canine companion, Rocky. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at Ellis hospital, especially the nurses and doctors on A6 and ICU E214, for all of their care and compassion shown to Zant and the family at their time of need.
Funeral services will be Friday at 7:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 4 to 7. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211.
